Plain Game Privacy Policy

How Plain Game handles local game progress, website accounts, cookie choices and support messages.

Plain Game at plaingame.fun is operated by chaozicoder. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@plaingame.fun.

Game progress stays in your browser

The game stores flights, scores, streaks, badges and preferences in your browser's local storage. Playing does not require a website account, and the game does not send scores to a server for a global leaderboard. Website sign-in does not automatically synchronize this game data.

Use the game's Settings controls to export, import or erase your stored progress. Clearing browser site data can also remove it. If storage is unavailable, temporary progress may not survive a refresh or a closed page. An exported backup remains wherever you save or share that file.

Sharing a flight

When you choose to share, the game can create a result image, text, link or challenge code. Shared material can include your score and the information needed to reproduce the route. A person who receives it can copy or forward it. Share only what you want others to see; the game does not automatically post results for you.

Website requests and optional accounts

Loading the website, its images or a linked source sends ordinary network information, such as your IP address and browser request headers, to the server providing that resource. The site uses Cloudflare infrastructure; images may be served from a separate media domain. External references open on their providers' websites and follow those providers' policies.

If you choose to create or use a website account, account information such as your email address, profile name and authentication records is processed to provide sign-in and account management. Profile settings allow supported profile changes. Account services are separate from the device-local game. Do not send passwords in a support message.

Cookies and optional measurement

Necessary cookies support security, sign-in where used, and your cookie preferences. The consent choice is remembered for up to 180 days. Analytics and advertising are separate optional categories in Cookie settings, available in the footer of this page and other information pages.

We use self-hosted Plausible Analytics, loaded through tj.chaozi.work, to measure website visits when you allow analytics.

Optional analytics or advertising scripts load only when the corresponding service is configured and you have allowed its category. The consent controls do not mean that every supported provider is active. If configured and allowed, these services can process visit, device and interaction information. Website attribution may record how an account visitor reached the site when analytics consent is present.

You can reject optional categories or change your choice later. Saving reloads the page to apply the choice. Withdrawing consent stops the corresponding optional scripts on the refreshed page and removes accessible tracking cookies covered by the site's withdrawal controls. It does not erase account records, local game backups or cookies on another provider's domain.

Support messages

If you email support, your address, message and any attachments are processed to investigate the issue and reply. Include only information needed for your request. For a game-data correction, a category, answer, displayed value and source link are usually sufficient.

Retention and requests

Local game data remains in your browser until you remove it or the browser clears it. Cookie preferences expire as described above. Account and support records may remain while needed to provide the requested service, handle security issues or meet applicable obligations; there is no automatic deletion period promised for those records here.

Email support@plaingame.fun to ask about access, correction or deletion of information held by the operator. We may need enough information to identify the relevant records and verify the request. We cannot remotely recover or erase a game backup you have saved outside the website, or local data in another person's browser.

Policy updates

Changes to these practices will be reflected here with an updated date. Please check this page when deciding whether to use new website features.
